How did you first get interested in theatre?
I originally got into theatre because I wanted to entertain audiences and help people make fun memories. I started acting in Kindergarten, up until high school, where I became interested in the design and technology aspects of theatre. Throughout high school, I helped my high school with lighting, and got to design lights in my junior and senior years.
What kind of career do you hope to have?
In the future, I hope to have a career as a lighting designer or electrician in a theatre.
What is your favorite thing about The Department of Theatre?
My favorite thing about the theatre department is the people. There are so many amazing professors and students, and everyone is so fun and interesting.
Do you participate in any community activities or work in the Charlotte arts community?
I work as a Robinson Hall Technician, helping set up and run various shows on campus or uptown.
What is one thing that you have gained from the Arts + Architecture Honors Program?
In the Arts + Architecture Honors Program, I have gained lots of research opportunities allowing me to learn more, and pursue my own research.
When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
When not in class, studying, or working, I like to spend my time relaxing, generally I do this by watching shows and movies, or playing video games.
