Rowe Arts
One of the most distinctive buildings on campus, Rowe Arts was designed by Charlotte architect Murray Whisnant and was named for Oliver R. Rowe, a prominent arts philanthropist and advocate for the university in its early decades. Originally home to all the arts at UNC Charlotte, Rowe now houses the Department of Art & Art History but still maintains a dance studio, a White Box Theater and the Rowe Recital Hall. Parking for Rowe Arts is in East Deck 1, 9110 Mary Alexander Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262.
