Admission to all programs in the College of Arts + Architecture starts with applying to UNC Charlotte. Some academic units have additional admissions processes specific to their disciplines. Certain units within the CoA+A conduct admissions procedures with specific reference to the discipline: Architecture, Art & Art History, Music, Dance and Theatre.

Academic Advising

The CoA+A Academic Advising Program aims to foster an information-sharing and decision-making framework that encourages students to actively engage in their education. This involvement will help you achieve your educational, personal and career goals. Advising in CoA+A is a collaborative effort between students, professional advisors and faculty, promoting academic success and timely degree progression and connecting students with resources and opportunities.
