Business Insider interviews professor about AI use in architecture

Assistant Professor of Architecture Sabri Gokmen was interviewed for an article in Business Insider about the adoption of artificial intelligence in the architecture industry.

While some firms are using AI for conceptual design and business needs, Gokmen told Business Insider, “The adoption rate in the industry is still slow at the moment.”

Regardless, Gokmen said he is still convinced that AI is the future of architecture. “In terms of design, architecture will still rely on human decisions and social contracts,” he said. “But this technology will open up other avenues for growth.”
