Rachel Swenson Watkins is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.  She has worked in Charlotte as a Stage Manager for CPCC Summer Theatre and as the Resident Stage Manager for 2 seasons at the Cape Fear Regional Theatre in Fayetteville.  She also did a stint on a bus and truck tour of She Loves Me and a van tour of Theatreworks/USA children’s production of Peter Rabbit.  Living in NYC, she stage-managed several benefit dinners at the Waldorf Astoria, theatre workshops at Circle Repertory, actor showcases, and then made her way to Broadway as an Assistant Stage Manager for Dream; The Johnny Mercer Musical.

Moving to Los Angeles to get to know her future husband, she stage-managed for the local weatherman/celebrity Fritz Coleman, (It’s Me! Dad!) and later for actress Brenda Vaccaro in Full Gallop– both at The Coronet Theatre.  She then went on to work in the film industry as a Location Coordinator for such movies as Mission: Impossible 3, Constantine, Along Came Polly, Rumor Has It, and the TV series of The X-Files Seasons 8 and 9. She is currently stage managing the life of her little boy.
