Poah West
Poah West Portillo (they/them) is a multi-instrumentalist musician who has played for the American Dance Festival, Duke University, Meredith College, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Texas Woman’s College, University of North Texas, Tarrant County College NorthWest, Texas Dance Improvisation Festival, and the Living Arts Collective.
They are apart of the bombastic duo BerryBueno (@berrybuenoband) and also play bass for the band MEGABITCH (@megabitch_allcaps).
They have many self-produced music releases. This includes “Dance Class Loops, Vol. 2,” a collection of tracks created to support dance technique classes. Their other music releases span singer-songwriter, rock, lofi beats, and a songspell/wishes practice.
Outside of music and dance, Poah enjoys making really good spicy salsa and reading manga.
