Kirstin Sheldon is the academic advisor for students at the David R. Ravin School of Architecture. Before joining the university, she worked in college access and retention, student support services, and graduate medical education. Kirstin joined UNC Charlotte in 2022 to pursue a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, while also serving as a Graduate Assistant Career Coach at the University Career Center. As a first-generation college student, she is passionate about supporting students with navigating higher education and developing skills for success. As an academic advisor, Kirstin aims to empower students to be active participants in planning their futures. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, playing video games and boardgames, and identifying plants with her husband on long walks.
