AGA Collaborative, which includes Associate Professor of Dance Gretchen Alterowitz, along with Alison Bory and Amanda Hamp, will present the trio’s newest work, win.place.show., at Davidson College on Friday, September 2, and Saturday, September 3. The performances take place at 7:30 pm in the Barber Theatre in Cunningham building.
A trio of artist/scholars who collaborate across geographic distance, AGA Collaborative completed its fifth summer residency this year. Win.place.show explores the concept of competition: the pressures of accomplishment and achievement, the perpetual nature of preparation, and the experience of performing presence.
