UNC Charlotte Department of Dance does not require an audition for acceptance; new students will be placed in classes appropriate to their level. Admission to the Professional Training Certificate in Dance with Charlotte Ballet does, however, require an audition. To schedule an audition, contact Delia Neil, Certificate Coordinator.

Your tour experience will highlight Charlotte’s robust 49er community, high-quality academics, and connection to the largest city in North Carolina. Tours include an overview of our application process and admissions requirements, and a guided walking tour of campus and a residence hall. New students are required to complete an orientation program over the summer before attending.
