- A specialist in African art history with documentary work in the NC Museum of Art and a project with the Smithsonian

RECENTLY, OUR STUDENTS HAVE
- Won awards in the Bellwethers Annual Juried Exhibition of Collegiate Student Art and the Charlotte ADDY Awards
- Traveled to Senegal for the Goree Diaspora Festival
- Had work featured in LENSCRATCH photography journal
- Created murals for a new building in uptown Charlotte
- Received scholarships for residencies at Penland School of Crafts and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts
