Spring Break: March 7-11, 2026
Join us during spring break for a field trip to the creative heart of American culture. On this multidisciplinary trip, we’ll experience New York City museums, performances and architectural sites including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the High Line and Little Island, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Broadway shows, the Village Vanguard and the Martha Graham Conservatory. Accommodations will be at the beautiful Freehand Hotel, located in the Flatiron District.
This trip is open to any eligible CoA+A students majoring in art & art history, architecture, dance, music and theatre! See eligibility requirements below.

Saturday, March 7: Travel to NYC via American Airlines
Sunday, March 8: Site Visits in small groups with Chaperone
Monday, March 9: Site Visits in small groups with Chaperone
Tuesday, March 10: Site Visits in small groups with Chaperone
Wednesday, March 11: Return to CLT via American Airlines
Students will personalize their itineraries from pre-selected locations to tour with their chaperones. Site visits could include the Apollo Theater, Museum of Natural History, Brooklyn Bridge, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Off-Broadway Matinee Performances, Whitney Museum, High Line, Little Island, Metropolitan Museum, Central Park, Lincoln Center campus, Hudson Yards, Museum of Modern Art. There will also be free time for students to explore NYC on their own as well.
Costs: $400 per student. This price includes:

CONFIRMATIONS: You’ll receive a preliminary confirmation from CoA+A upon payment of the trip. There will be a final confirmation email regarding your registration by December 30. No refunds given after Dec 31.
