The Silvestre dance technique workshop with Rosangela Sivestre is Friday, Thursday September 30th at 12:15pm in Robinson Hall, Studio 118! Rosangela is the creator of Silvestre technique, and we are so excited to have her back at UNC Charlotte to teach! She is also an African-Brazilian dance pioneer and will be sharing the roots of the samba dance and culture. She has visited our department several times, and our students learn so much each time. We are so grateful that our professor Tamara Williams helped our department make such an amazing connection and give our dancers a diverse learning expierence! Light refreshments will be provided.
