The UNC Charlotte Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Alan Yamamoto. welcomes the Northwest School of the Arts String Ensemble to present Musical Enchantments, a concert of magical and mysterious music. The program includes Mendelssohn's fairy-filled Overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream, Dukas's spooky The Sorcerer's Apprentice, and music inspired by The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, widely regarded as the first horror film and the basis for the upcoming Department of Theatre production, The Caligari Project.
