About The Morning Pages Album

Offering energetic anthems and soulful bops, this current project from YUNG Citizen is inspred by YUNG’s mental health journey and him seeking guidance through God, therapy, and self-reflection. Tracks such as “CROSS THE T” set the tone for the confidence and introspection weaved throughout the entire project. “FORTUNE COOKIE” dives into YUNG's affirmations about healing, confidence, and love. The catchy melody aligns perfectly with YUNG’s eloquent raps as he expresses the gratification of overcoming mistakes and learning to forgive and love again. The three song EP ends with “MORNING PAGES” featuring Curt Keyz, which speaks to the overcoming and healing of YUNG’s past traumas and trials.

The Morning Pages EP reflects on the small pieces of life’s journey that are fundamental in preparing you, mentally and emotionally, for what’s to come next.
