CoA+A Equity Council Conversation: Black History Month

February 21, 2023 - 6:15 PM
Rowe 130

The CoA+A Equity Council and Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence Kelsey Klotz host a gathering and conversation in recognition of Black History Month. This event is for students, faculty, and staff to come together and celebrate Black History. This talk will center around researching and learning from Black artists/creators, to recognize areas in society that still require growth, and determine how to pursue and continue that growth. The conversation will precede the Charlotte Strings Collective concert in Rowe Recital Hall at 7:30 PM. This is neither the first nor the last moment for these conversations; the Equity Council is dedicated to pursuing equity and the importance of Black History, not only in February, but year round.
