SoA Announces 2017-18 Scholarships in Practice
The School of Architecture has announced the winners of the 2017-18 Scholarships in Practice. Launched in 2015, Scholarships in Practice are combined scholarship/internship programs created in partnership with the local offices of architecture firms. Each scholarship consists of $5,000 in tuition support and a market-rate full-time summer internship (Summer 2017), followed by a part-time nine-month internship during the students’ final year of study (2017-18).
The SoA received 19 applications for the three positions. The 2017-18 winners are all graduate students in the SoA:
> C DESIGN Scholarship in Practice: Noushin Radnia
> BB&M Scholarship in Practice: Sara Shamloo
> CLARK NEXSEN Scholarship in Practice: Daniel Zambrano
Earlier in the semester, the SoA announced the recipient of the new Stantec Diversity Scholarship in Practice, Bria Prioleau.
