Dr. Erica Andrews has over 20 years of professional experience in higher education administration and community development. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to social justice and equity and is committed to improving postsecondary access, retention, and success for students.
Dr. Andrews’s research interests include equity-minded faculty engagement with data, racial equity, and community engagement in higher education. Dr. Andrews was honored to be selected as a 2019 Achieving the Dream Fellow and a 2020 Belk Center Fellow. She has served as a long-time volunteer organizer for GirlTrek, a national health organization, and is a research affiliate of the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research.
Dr. Andrews earned an Ed.D. in adult and community college education from North Carolina State University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degrees in social work and higher education administration from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
