Art Education Professor Co-edits New Series
Assistant Professor of Art Education Jane Dalton has co-edited a three-volume series: “Contemplative Practices, Pedagogy, and Research in Education,” released last month by Rowman & Littlefield. The three books, Cultivating a Culture of Learning, The Teaching Self, and Impacting Teaching and Learning draw together first-hand accounts from researchers and practitioners in the developing philosophy of contemplative education.
The volumes were co-edited with Elizabeth Hope Dorman, associate professor of teacher education at Fort Lewis College in Colorado, and Kathryn Byrnes, the Baldwin Program Director in the Center for Learning and Teaching at Bowdoin College in Maine.
