Bachelor of Architecture

2024

How did you become interested in architecture?
I always wanted to impact people using art, and architecture is the best medium that lets me express my designs while creating unique spaces that expand creativity in others. The range given is enormous, and I would like to use every bit of it.

What kind of career do you hope to have?
Landscape architecture is the goal, for now. Designing large-scale green projects is hopefully one of my destinations in life. The emotions I get simply being in one are too powerful for me not to pursue growing it.

What is your favorite thing about UNC Charlotte, the College of Arts + Architecture, or the School of Architecture?
My favorite thing about the School of Architecture is the artistic freedom we’re allowed when working on a project – thinking outside the box is a must before exploring further options in design. That is what is pushing me to think bigger.

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
I love photography. I like to capture visually pleasing scenery with a story into a frame. Seeing the big picture from a distance is what lets me present my art in its best form. It’s a huge inspiration to my school projects and always will be.
