How did you first get interested in design?
Design/architecture was not something I had expected for my life, but once I gave architecture a try at a summer design camp in high school, I knew I couldn’t do anything else.
What kind of career do you hope to have?
I want to be an architect, but more than that: I want to create spaces that inspire creativity and community. Architectural Design has the unique ability to shape how people interact with space, and it can even lift people up and celebrate undervalued communities.
What is your favorite thing about The David R. Ravin School of Architecture?
The school of architecture is like a massive family and because we spend so much time together I am constantly inspired by the creativity around me. I always feel pushed to do my best work.
When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
One of my favorite activities to do when taking a break from school is to play ultimate frisbee in the arts quad. If I’m wanting a less physical activity, I love to read books especially Franz Kafkas “Letters to Milena”
