How did you first get interested in art?
It started all the way back in elementary school as I found comfort in art and crafts. I always have a knack working with my hands so I continue that path.

What kind of career do you hope to have?
I recently found a strong love for fiber, but I also like to teach. So, I’m going for a career that has a combination of the two and allows me to explore the two areas of art that I love.

What is your favorite thing about the Department of Art & Art History?
The fablab is my favorite place to be. I love being able to talk and work with other people and share ideas with people in and out of the art department.

Do you participate in any community activities or work in the Charlotte arts community?
Cerama is a club I recently joined and have been very active in. However, I would love to start a new art club on campus, specifically a crochet club. There are no clubs that specialize fibers, and I would love to expand the range of art clubs available.

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
During my down time I mainly love to read light novels and work on mini projects that I am passionate about
