This year, the Department of Theatre presented Legally Blonde The Musical, with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach,  a new musical by Visiting Professor Margarette Joyner, The New South Part 1: How We Got HereThe Caligari Project based on the landmark, German Expressionist film, “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari,” and BBC’s Welcome to Our Village, Please Invade Carefully.

This year, the Department of Theatre presented Melanie Marnich’s These Shining Lives, Annie Baker’s The Antipodes, Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Sweat, and As You Like It based roughly on Shakespeare’s “As You Like It”

This year, the Department of Theatre presented Far Away, Everybody, and Detroit ’67.
