Tod A. Kubo has directed/choreographed his way across the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South and Latin America over three decades. He received his teaching credential in performing arts from Cal State Long Beach and his health certificate from the University of San Diego. Regionally, Tod was creative director for performances for the Democratic National Convention in 2012 and Madame Butterfly/Opera Carolina Event at the Uptown Mint Museum of Charlotte. Choreographic highlights include the musicals: ROCK OF AGES, AMERICAN IDIOT, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and DREAM A LITTLE DREAM- Actor's Theatre of Charlotte; CHICAGO, SPAMALOT and THE COLOR PURPLE- PPT, Inc., RENT- Prague, Czech premiere; MADAGASCAR and GO DOG, GO- Children's Theatre of Charlotte;  CHICAGO, JEKYLL AND HYDE, BEEHIVE, A CHORUS LINE and GREASE- CPCC Summer Theatre; THE WIZARD OF OZ-Onstage Theatrics Las Vegas; KING DAVID- New York and European Tours; DREAMER- National Tour; OKLAHOMA- West Coast Opera Theatre Palm Desert; PETER PAN- Bob Hope Cultural Arts Center; WEST SIDE STORY and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST- Musical Theatre West Youth; 42nd STREET- Gallimaufry Performing Arts; FACETS FROM BROADWAY-Pacific Symphony Orchestra; and SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK- Saddleback CLO.
