Esther Alcamo

Esther M. Alcamo — Part-time Adjunct
Esther is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Dance, teaching the Music and Dance course for students majoring or minoring in dance. She holds a Masters degree in Music Theory from Queens College, CUNY as well as a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music. She is a certified Elementary Music Educator in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District, where she has mentored many beginning teachers and serves as a department lead. Ms. Alcamo is an accomplished pianist and collaborative musician, performing with the CMS Elementary Honors Chorus, as well as serving as an accompanist for several community organizations.
