Undergraduate Admissions

Thank you for your interest in the David R. Ravin School of Architecture! Our undergraduate admissions process is currently being updated for students interested in Fall 2025 admissions. Please check back here on June 1, 2024 for full details about the process and required application materials. Below is some basic information on the general process.

Our program is a 4-year Bachelor of Arts in Architecture Degree, and all students begin the program in the fall semester (we do not offer spring-semester admission).

Admission into the program is a competitive, two-tier process: students first apply for admission into UNC Charlotte (unless they are already a student here); if accepted (or if already enrolled), they then may apply to become an Architecture Major. More details on the two-tier process will be provided when the new admissions guidelines are unveiled on June 1, 2024.

Throughout the admissions process, we offer opportunities for students to visit the school, both in-person and virtually, and the new admission guidelines will include details about when and how to visit us.

Transferring into our program from other institutions is possible, but very limited to students who meet certain criteria, as will be detailed in the new admissions guidelines.

We offer multiple scholarship opportunities, and details regarding how to apply for scholarships will be included in the new admissions guidelines.

If you have any questions before the new guidelines are published here, please contact SoA-info@charlotte.edu.
