Architecture Undergraduate Programs
The David R. Ravin School of Architecture (SoA) offers unique undergraduate programs, providing both a liberal arts education and pre-professional training.
UNC Charlotte is an urban research institution located in one of the largest and fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country, and it hosts a unique array of educational and research opportunities. One of its great assets is the College of Arts + Architecture, which makes UNC Charlotte the only institution within the University of North Carolina System to provide degrees in architecture, the fine arts, and the performing arts under one college.
The SoA continues that innovation by providing a nationally distinct undergraduate program that provides both a liberal arts education and pre-professional training. By promoting a holistic view of the built environment, it trains future leaders in both architecture and its related disciplines. Through a dedication to design research, a strong affiliation with the arts, and a growing set of relationships with the other departments at UNC Charlotte, students here expand their knowledge and follow their interests, and degree pathways that include minors and double majors give them a competitive edge as architectural practitioners.
