Joshua Carr

Joshua Carr is an artist, community leader, and educator living in Concord, NC. After graduating from App State with a B.S. in Psychology and Entrepreneurship, Joshua spent 6 years living and working in the industry, in Los Angeles. During that time he worked professional dance jobs, created opportunities for the artistic community in LA, and found his passion in building creative programs for/with others. Upon moving back to North Carolina, Joshua recommitted himself to community engagement by supporting local organizations, traveling to other regions, and representing “The Carolinaz” in competitions and performances. Currently, Joshua is an adjunct professor, teaching Foundations of Hip Hop in the UNC Charlotte Dance Department. He is a passionate educator and takes pride in connecting the students with Hip Hop culture and Krump dance, as part of his curriculum.”
