Bill Congdon

Bill Congdon is the music director for the spring 2026 production of “Cabaret.” His conducting credits include national tours of “Matilda The Musical,” “Mamma Mia!” and “Billy Elliot The Musical” and many regional, stock and symphony orchestra credits, including CPCC Summer Theatre, Charlotte Rep, Greensboro Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, North Carolina Symphony and Opera Carolina.

Congdon has created orchestrations and arrangements for the new musicals “Allie Kazan and the Magic Mansion” and “Catching the Moon” at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte. He has been a Music Associate for Broadway Dreams since 2017.

Congdon received a Bachelor of Music Education from East Carolina University and a Master of Music and Performer’s Certificate in Percussion from The Eastman School of Music.
