How did you first get interested in dance?
I’ve been dancing since I was two, and my passion for dance has never left me but instead has kept growing with me becoming an essential for my happiness.

What kind of career do you hope to have?
I hope to dance professionally or commercially but my biggest goal/dream is to go on tour dancing for a latin artist. Specifically, I would love to tour for Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, Ozuna, Feid, J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Becky G, Young Miko, and Mora. But honestly wherever I can get a job.

What is your favorite thing about the Department of Dance?
I really love how UNC Charlotte has so many connections and opportunities for their dance majors because connection and networking is a really important part of having a dance career.

What have you gained by being a scholarship student?
I am fortunate to have the Dance Scholarship through the department of dance. This scholarship has helped pay for school and so I am able to study what I am passionate about which I am so thankful for.

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
I love being outside in nature at the beach surfing/swimming or in the woods hiking/backpacking. I also love to bake all sorts of deserts such as macaroons, cake, cupcakes, cookies, and croissants.
