Emma Kaye holds a BFA in Art History from The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and has completed Post-Baccalaureate Studies at Syracuse University. In 2024, Emma earned her MFA in Ceramic Art at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. She has received numerous scholarships and awards to sponsor her participation in workshops at craft schools throughout the U.S. to further her education. Emma has taught classes, workshops and hosted lectures and critiques at colleges and universities, art centers, public schools, and community spaces. She has exhibited her ceramic work in galleries and arts centers nationally, including the Eutectic Gallery in Portland, OR, The Plinth Gallery in Denver, CO, and The Charlie Cummings Gallery in Gainesville, FL. In 2019, Emma was the recipient of Ceramic Monthly’s Emerging Artist Award. Emma currently holds the position of Visiting Interdisciplinary 3D Lecturer and Technician in Ceramics at UNC Charlotte.
