Edward Davis

Landscape Architect and Horticulture Director for the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens

Education:

Bachelor of Fine Arts, painting concentration, UNC Charlotte
Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, University of Georgia

Hometown: Walhalla, SC

I began drawing classes before my teen years and then became involved in wheel-thrown pottery during my teens. My interest in gardening, art and architecture led me to pursue a degree and then a career in Landscape Architecture. After completing a BFA in Painting, I joined the staff at the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens. I knew that I wanted to be a part of the UNC Charlotte community when I began my first art class in 2001. I’m proud to be an alumni employee, and I’m inspired to be a part of this amazing community.

Do you have any advice for current students in the College of Arts + Architecture?
