Kuniko Bufford

Kuniko is an architectural professional and educator with a strong foundation in both design theory and practical application. She earned her B.A. in Interior Architecture from UNC Greensboro and her Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from UNC Charlotte.

Kuniko currently serves as a Project Manager at Neighboring Concepts, a multidisciplinary architecture firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. Concurrently, she contributes to the academic community as a Teaching Fellow at UNC Charlotte and an instructor at Central Piedmont Community College. By integrating her extensive industry knowledge directly into her curriculum, she provides students with tangible, real-world insights into conceptual architecture and environmental design.
