How did you first get interested in theatre?
When I was twelve years old, I was in a community theatre production of Beauty and the Beast. I loved every part, and I knew I needed to do this for the rest of my life.

What kind of career do you hope to have?
I hope to perform in touring shows, traveling all over the country doing what I love.

What is your favorite thing about the Department of Theatre?
My favorite thing about the UNC Charlotte’s Theatre Department is how differences and individuality are encouraged. As students, we are encouraged to use our bodies as our instrument to create the best art and not to force ourselves to fit a specific archetype.

Do you participate in any community activities or work in the Charlotte arts/design community?
I am the treasurer for Queen City Circus, model for drawing classes, and am involved with the Guild which is a tabletop game club.

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
For fun, I like to do aerial silks and trapeze along with other aspects of circus arts.
