How did you first get interested in music?
I have had a passion for music since I was very young. I feel the happiest when I am singing or listening to music or just doing anything connected to music. Since elementary school, I have been a part of different choirs and I also went to the White House twice with my choir to perform during the holiday time. I also love to sing in talent shows and have won several awards for that. 

What kind of career do you hope to have?
I would hope to become a performer, and I would like to release a song/music album of my own one day.

What is your favorite thing about the Department of Music?
I like the setting of the college and the top professors and faculty in the music department.

Do you participate in any community activities or work in the Charlotte arts community?
I assist as an usher and stagehand in various performances in Robinson Hall.

When you are not in class, studying, or working, what do you like to do for fun?
Watching college sporting events, uptown Charlotte music performances, and listening to my favorite music in my room.
