Run BY students FOR students, join us for CoA+A's third annual CoAApalooza!
On Thursday, April 11, our arts reps and student organizations are hosting the third annual CoAAPalooza, a student-run spring arts festival that gives students within the college a chance to meet peers outside of their departments and see what CoA+A organizations have to offer! Events will start at 11:00 am in the arts quad. Initiated, designed, and executed by this amazing group of students, CoAAPalooza provides an opportunity to create an interdisciplinary community, a core value of the College and a frequent request that we hear from students.
Food trucks will be set up in the Arts Quad, open for business from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CoA+A majors will receive one free food truck ticket!
- To receive your food truck ticket, visit our check in tables set up in the back lobby of Robinson Hall on the day of the event. Remember to bring your student ID! CoA+A faculty and staff and students outside of the college are welcome to visit the food trucks and purchase lunch.
CoA+A Student Organizations will have tables throughout the Arts Quad featuring creative activities – including a tote bag making station, friendship bracelets, paint by numbers, arts trivia, tie dying, and more!
- Participating student organizations include the American Institute of Architecture Students, Freedom by Design, Visual Arts Club, Society of Art Historians, Niner Designers, Range of Motion Dance Ensemble, MOVE Dance Alliance, Sigma Alpha Iota, Earth Club, Nova Magazine, 49er Improv, The Niner Times, Midas Magazine, and the Arts + Architecture Honors Program!
Student performances will include the Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band, a preview from our spring musical Legally Blonde, excerpts from Choreography students' recent work, and more!
We welcome back DJ Thomas Grady to perform live for this event!
Play yard games like Jenga, cornhole, volleyball, and more or just sit and relax in the quad with your friends!
