Michael T. Swisher retired from the School of Architecture (SoA) after a 30-year teaching career. Swisher taught first-year studio and an assortment of visual studies electives, assisting architecture students with grasping the important fundamentals of visual design. A designer, sculptor, and painter, Swisher has exhibited commercially for more than two decades, and his functional designs have been used by the SoA and private clients. Curated by SoA professor Greg Snyder, the retrospective in Lambla Gallery explores Swisher’s multi-faceted career as an educator and professional artist.
