The School of Architecture presents a public lecture with Zena Howard, FAIA, LEED AP, North Carolina Office Principal & Managing Director at Perkins + Will. A Q&A will follow.

With an avid interest in shared cultural roots, Zena Howard has a body of work that seeks to create architecture that serves as a framework through which to share essential human stories. Her career has been defined by visionary and culturally-significant projects, from the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. to urban projects addressing historically under-served and negatively impacted communities to redress painful issues, bridge diverse experiences and support resilient communities.
